Biography
Simonetta Carr
Award-winning author Simonetta Carr was born in Italy and has lived and worked in different cultures. A former elementary school teacher, she has been a homeschooling mother for many years.
She lives in San Diego with her husband Thomas and two of her eight children. Besides writing and translating, she teaches Italian as a second language.
She is a member of Christ United Reformed Church and a regular contributor to Modern Reformation. She also writes the “Cloud of Witnesses” column for the Place for Truth website.
Simonetta has spoken in churches, schools, and other venues in the United States, Canada, Indonesia, and Italy on topics including church history for children, mental health and the church, and women in church history.
